Who We Are

We’ve been in the remodeling business almost as long as we’ve been married. When our first two sons were very small, we bought an old house in Orlando from an estate sale. It was the only way we could afford to purchase a home. We lived there and remodeled it for two years. After that we sold our home and moved to Bedford, Indiana. The Indiana house we ended up buying needed so much work, the realtor almost refused to show it to us! We remodeled this major fixer upper in our spare time. It was a family affair; our sons were in elementary school and had great fun helping Daddy with the work and learning a trade. In 2000, we moved back to the Orlando area. We were now a family of five, with our last son on the way. We began purchasing homes and remodeling them without actually living in them. Greg also started a handyman service that is now owned by one of our sons.
Over the years we have purchased cabinets from many different suppliers. They are almost always the largest investment in any housing project. We started Cabinets for a Cause because we have finally found the perfect blend of quality cabinets while still being affordable. We use these cabinets in all the homes we remodel, so we personally know how they look and how well built they are. We remodel homes like we are planning to live there ourselves, and we would (and plan to at some point) absolutely use these in our own kitchen! Now, we wanted to share these beautiful cabinets with you.
We are so grateful to be blessed in this life, and we want to share with those less fortunate. We have always given our time, and financially, to different charities. Our goal with Cabinets for a Cause is to continue that tradition, but we want YOU to be in charge of where the funds go. A portion of each kitchen/bathroom purchase goes directly to a charity of your choice in the form of a donation made in your name. Together we can make beautiful kitchens and baths while helping to make our world a more beautiful place to live.
